‘Long Island airport will be prioritized’

MCCANNS, LONG ISLAND — Acting Prime Minister Chester Cooper announced today that the government is prioritizing a new airport for Long Island.

According to Cooper, The ground will be broken for the new facility sometime this year.

He said plans for the airport are currently being finalized.

When asked if funding has been secured for the new airport, Cooper advised the media that funding will be provided through a Public-Private Partnership.
