NASSAU, BAHAMAS- Labour and Public Service Minister Pia Glover-Rolle stated that the government is upholding the pre-election MOU signed with unions, maintaining open communication with them, and addressing their concerns. This comes in response to recent criticism from Bahamas Union of Teachers President Belinda Wilson, who accused union leaders of selectively working with the Progressive Liberal Party and alleged that the government cherry-picks which unions it engages with.
