Island Yogurt earns top Trip Advisor certificate of excellence

FREEPORT, BAHAMAS – Island Yogurt co-owners, Paul and Kimberley Brown were elated to receive a 2019 Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence.

The certificate is awarded to businesses based on consistently great reviews received on Trip Advisor.  Kimberley Brown exclaims, “We are very humbled to be recognized because we pride ourselves on delivering the best customer experience to everyone who walks into Island Yogurt.  We know that customer service is critical for the success of our business and the economy of Grand Bahama.”

Island Yogurt, located in the Port Lucaya Marketplace, provides fresh and delicious frozen yogurt in a self-serve format along with an array of toppings. The business launched in 2012 and has constantly treated customers to a taste of paradise.

Receiving a Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor means that Island Yogurt garnered quality reviews from many customers.  To qualify for the award, a business must maintain an overall TripAdvisor rating of at least four out of five, have a minimum number of reviews and be listed on TripAdvisor for at least 12 months.

Paul Brown notes, “This is our first time being recognized by Trip Advisor and it feels really good.  We now belong to a prestigious group of Grand Bahama businesses being globally recognized for excellent customer service and quality products.”

The co-owners say that Island Yogurt is a special product.  For them, this award will go a long way in showcasing their business to local residents, domestic tourists and international visitors who use Trip Advisor to research and select the best eateries in Freeport, Grand Bahama.

Island Yogurt has very loyal customers who reliably support the frozen yogurt shop and then share their reviews, which the Browns believe is one of the reasons they were awarded the Certificate of Excellence.

“We give God thanks for this award.  We are very grateful to each of our customers who graciously support our business and know that without them, none of this would be possible,” says Kimberley Brown.  “Together, we all achieved this and we humbly say, thank you.”
