Illegal immigrants arrested in Grand Bahama

FREEPORT, GRAND BAHAMA – Four illegal migrants were arrested on Wednesday on the island of Grand Bahama.

According to police reports, shortly before 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, a team of officers from the High Rock Police Station, acting on intelligence, proceeded to an area in Felix Slope, High Rock, Grand Bahama, where they arrested four illegal immigrants.

The immigrants comprised of three females – one from Venezuela and two from Ecuador as well as a male from Ecuador.

The migrants were all undocumented and handed over to the Immigration Department for further investigation.
