NASSAU, BAHAMAS- Police arrested a 50-year-old man early Saturday morning, June 7, 2025, after discovering an illegal firearm during a search of a residence on Kim Crescent, off Baillou Hill Road.

Officers attached to Operation Black Scorpion executed a search warrant around 2:30 a.m. and found a firearm along with ammunition, leading to the suspect’s arrest.

The investigation is ongoing.

Operation Black Scorpion is a joint initiative between the Royal Bahamas Police Force and the Royal Bahamas Defence Force.
