HEROIC: Young student commended for attempting to stop a fight between two students

NASSAU, BAHAMAS- Eleventh-grade student at C.I. Gibson Senior High School Rye-ah Canter received a Student Commendation Award from the Commissioner of Police for her act of heroism last week; she assisted in stopping a fight between two female students last week.

Assistant Commissioner of Police Chaswell Hanna presented the award on behalf of the police commissioner Thursday morning.
