Grupo Anderson’s refutes Celebration Key lay-off rumors

NASSAU, BAHAMAS —  Grupo Anderson’s, the food and beverage operator contracted to manage multiple dining venues at Carnival Cruise Line’s new Celebration Key destination, is pushing back against social media rumors suggesting the mass termination of over 70 employees.

In a statement issued Tuesday, the company labeled the claims as “false, inaccurate, and misleading,” affirming its continued commitment to both its operations and workforce at the Grand Bahama-based attraction.

“Grupo Anderson’s operates with the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and transparency,” the company said. “Any suggestion to the contrary misrepresents who we are and the values we stand for.”

The firm emphasized that it remains dedicated to delivering high-quality guest experiences at Celebration Key while upholding the trust of its team—comprising 645 staff members—as well as its partners and patrons.

“We remain fully committed to providing outstanding experiences at Celebration Key while upholding the trust and confidence of our valued guests, 645 team members, and partners,” the statement continued.

Carnival Cruise Line officially opened Celebration Key on July 19, 2025. The 65-acre destination marks Carnival’s first private port developed exclusively for its guests.
