Prime Minister Dr. Hubert Minnis officially opened the Franklyn R. Wilson Graduate Centre at the University of The Bahamas  Oakes Field Campus yesterday afternoon.

The prime minister stressed that new $3 million facility will play a critical role in research to promote nation building.

It is named after legacy donor to the institution and former College Council Chairman Sir Franklyn R. Wilson. The centre is the result of a $1 million donation from Wilson and family, a $1 million gift from RBC Royal Bank and a $1 million contribution from the Government of The Commonwealth of The Bahamas.
