NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Officers of the Flying Squad Unit in Grand Bahama recovered a quantity of drugs and an illegal firearm on Friday, March 22, 2019.
According to police reports, shortly after 2:00 p.m. on Friday, acting on information, officers proceeded to Grays Avenue in Seagrape, Eight Mile Rock, where they uncovered in bushes five plastic bags containing 12 lbs of suspected marijuana with a street value of $12,000 and a silver and black pistol containing four hollowed tip .380 ammunition.
No arrests were made in this matter and investigations continue.
