NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Police, acting on information, recovered an illegal firearm from the streets of New Providence on Friday, July 6, 2019.
According to police reports, shortly after 6:00p.m. on Friday past, Central Detective Unit Officers, acting on information, executed a search warrant on a home on Yorkshire Drive, Cable Beach and while searching a vehicle parked in the yard, officers discovered .9mm pistol.
A 29-year-old male was taken into custody in connection with this incident.
Investigations are ongoing.
