PARADISE ISLAND, BAHAMAS – Police are investigating a fire that broke out Monday evening at a hotel on Paradise Island.
Shortly after 5:45 p.m., Fire Services responded to the scene where the engineering room was ablaze. The flames were quickly extinguished, but the room sustained extensive fire and water damage, and an adjacent room was moderately damaged.
No injuries were reported. Authorities confirmed the building was later de-energized as investigations continue.
