NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Next week Sands Beer will bring its blockbuster Drink Sands & Win promotion to a close. The five-month long campaign will then culminate in Nassau with a show-stopping, high-energy celebration on Saturday, December 6th, at Smuggler’s Square, starting at 7pm featuring live performances by YUNG BREDDA, KONSHENS, and Bahamian favorite SHINE. Entertainment that night also includes DJ favorites such as Lil Giant, Tank, Ajay, Tiko T, and Eon Blackz to name a few.
Originally planned for October 4th, the event was rescheduled due to inclement weather and to fit the performers’ schedules, but the new date promises an even more exciting experience. The change allowed Sands Beer to ensure that both the venue and entertainment lineup deliver the same exceptional energy fans have come to expect. It also gave beer drinkers an additional month to enter to win with the campaign closing officially on November 1st.
The ‘Drink & Win’ contest gave fans across The Bahamas the chance to win thousands of dollars in cash and prizes, including the grand prize Yamaha VX WaveRunner, a $4,000 second prize, and a $1,000 third prize. To enter, customers simply purchased any six-pack of Sands, Sands Light, Sands Pink Radler, or Sands Passion Radler at Jimmy’s Wines & Spirits or participating retailers and submitted their entry. Weekly winners were drawn throughout the season, keeping excitement high from Grand Bahama to Inagua.
