NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Police on the island of Eleuthera have launched an investigation into a shooting incident that occurred on Monday April 21, 2025, after 3:30 a.m.
According to preliminary reports, a 42-year-old man was confronted by two unknown men, one reportedly armed with a firearm while in the area of Genes Bay and Preachers Cave.
The victim was able to flee from the culprits who discharged gunshots in his direction, police said.
As a result, the victim sustained injuries to his left leg and received medical treatment at the local clinic.
Furthermore, he was discharged from the clinic, authorities confirmed.
The investigation continues.
