DRA, S.T.A.R.S. Bahamas donate over 100 tablets to GB students

FREEPORT, BAHAMAS — Representatives of the Disaster Reconstruction Authority (DRA) on Grand Bahama distributed tablets to students of seven primary schools on the island on Wednesday and Thursday.

The presentations, held in conjunction with S.T.A.R.S. Bahamas, were made to West End, Holmes Rock, Bartlett Hill, Lewis Yard, Walter Parker, Freeport Primary and Maurice Moore primary schools. Between the seven primary schools over 100 tablets were distributed.

Antonnesia Moxey, of the DRA, said the authority was pleased to partner with S.T.A.R.S. Bahamas to bring so many electronic devices to the students of Grand Bahama to facilitate their online schooling.
