DEVELOPING: FNM says Grant was invited to make a complaint, not questioned

NASSAU, BAHAMAS — Officials from the Free National Movement (FNM) camp say that Bishop Ricardo Grant was not questioned in relation to a viral video where a man alleged to have been given a directive by Grant to disperse some $50K to voters in the West End & Bimini constituency for their votes ahead of the Bye-Election.

According to sources within the party, Grant was reportedly invited to make an official complaint on the matter.

However, police told Eyewitness News on Thursday afternoon that Bishop Grant declined to make that complaint.

The party will reportedly release an official statement on the matter.

This is a developing story.
