While the murder count continues to climb, National Security Minister Marvin Dames said, he is pleased with efforts by police in reconfiguring their policing plan and making the necessary adjustments to put resources where they are needed most.
Despite police efforts, Dames said, that legislation and challenges with the legal system add to the complex issue of crime.
