Construction on Ritz-Carlton Reserve at Cotton Bay to begin in April

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Executives from Cotton Bay Holdings Ltd. met with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, Investments & Aviation, The Honourable I. Chester Cooper, to provide an update on the Ritz-Carlton Reserve development in South Eleuthera.

It was confirmed that construction will begin by early April 2025, with a groundbreaking ceremony also scheduled. This marks a major milestone in the project, which is expected to bring significant economic and tourism benefits not only to Eleuthera but to The Bahamas.

Also in attendance were Director General, Mrs. Latia Duncombe, and Permanent Secretary, Ms. Lisa Adderley-Anderson. Representing Cotton Bay Holdings Ltd. were Managing Director, Daniel Zuleta, and General Counsel, Jonnell Rigby-Knowles. Discussions covered project timelines, infrastructure, and the resort’s impact on local tourism and employment, during construction and beyond.

Cotton Bay Holdings Ltd. reaffirmed their commitment to the successful execution of this landmark development.
