Community Cares initiative distributes limeade and lunch throughout the community of Bain and Grants Town

NASSAU, BAHAMAS — Limeade joined forces with The Munroe Foundation to distribute 100 gallons of limeade and lunch throughout the community of Bain and Grants Town alongside MP Travis Robinson on Saturday.

MP Travis Robinson and his team went door to door distributing coupons.

The event “Community Cares” was hosted at the Fellowship Word and Disciple Center, and comes at a time when many are out of work due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“A small gesture can make a big difference, we’re just doing our part to make someone’s day a little brighter” said Joshua Miller, owner of Limeade.

Robinson and his team went door to door distributing coupons that were redeemed to collect the items.

Miller continued: “The goal was to distribute 100 gallons of limeade, but as the plan developed we were encouraged by the many groups and individuals that agreed to partner with us. Thanks to our partners, 250 plates of food and gallons of Limeade and sanitizers were given out (Saturday).”

He said the Munroe Foundation played a major role through the use of their facility and a generous food donation.

“Today would not have been possible without our partners and we are grateful to those that assisted in any way to make it happen,” Miller said.

“I would like to say a special thank you to Believe Wines, A B Swaby, ARM Bottling Suppliers, Green Thumb Group and Bahamas Medical Supplies.”
