NASSAU, BAHAMAS — In the spirit of sharing which is to give during this holiday season, the Royal Bahamas Defence Force (RBDF) recently made a monetary donation to the Children’s Emergency Hostel.
The members of the RBDF Base Civil/Construction Maintenance Unit (BCCMU) paid a visit to the Children’s Emergency Hostel to make the donation, which the hostel’s Business Manager Deandra Gibson gratefully accepted with many thanks.
Representing BCCMU was Commanding Officer Lieutenant Commander Kenneth Forbes, Petty Officer Atama Bowe and Able Woman Marine Erika Longley.
Forbes commented: “We feel we have an obligation to assist those who may find themselves in challenging circumstances. So, we are here today to make this small donation that hopefully will assist in bringing some cheer to the lives of the children at the hostel.”
