NASSAU, BAHAMAS — The Bahamas Chamber of Commerce and Employers’ Confederation (BCCEC) will host a “Meet the Minister” Power Breakfast on Thursday May 11, featuring Labour and Immigration Minister Keith Bell as the guest speaker.
Minister Bell will speak on general topics such as the government’s apprenticeship program, work renewals, and the country’s immigration policies. The Power Breakfast event, which will be held at the Margaritaville Beach Resort is the second in the series to be hosted by BCCEC this year.
The BCCEC is described as the premier employers’ and business organization in The Bahamas which “seeks to develop, promote and protecting trade activity as well as the interests of employers on all social and labour policy issues within the context of true tripartism, in national, regional and international forums.”
The upcoming Power Breakfast is being sponsored by Plato Alpha. The software consulting company was born in 2019 when developers Duran Humes and Keith Roye joined forces to offer innovative digital solutions that help businesses increase efficiency and profitability.
The company has to-date assisted numerous companies with their digital transformation.
