Everytime private businesses hear about wage increase they have a problem with it. So sad.
This the foolishness in this country right now, two separate sectors for the same citizens of the same one country. The private sector needs to be abolished because they are clearly stunting the growth of the Bahamian people and in reality the Bahamian economy. Even a fool can see nobody can sensibly let alone comfortably survive off of $5.00 hr., in a country with high tax , and high inflation. This is a sad conversation to be having in 2022 where your own government feels $300 weekly is too much for you to make. Yet we continue to lose our minds when we see these suckers out in public and when it’s time for elections and rallies, if we continue supporting these fools this is what we will always get, nothing.
