Nassau, Bahamas – On March 2, BTC proudly partnered with the Exuma Cancer Society as it hosted its annual ball.

The ball, which was themed, “Stronger Together” was held in the Ballroom of the Sandals Emerald Bay Resort.

Rosenell Smith, a BTC customer service representative for Exuma and a courageous breast cancer survivor, has worked along with the Exuma Branch of the Cancer Society for several years now.

Smith said, “’ I am truly happy that BTC continues to support such a noble cause. Cancer has no bias, it affects everyone. The proceeds from the event will assist residents in Exuma with preventative testing and education. I encourage everyone to follow Miss Bahamas’ pledge to ‘eat wise, exercise and stay alive.”

BTC has actively participated in the fight against breast cancer for more than a decade. The company has worked with the various Cancer Society branches throughout the Family Islands and in New Providence.
