NASSAU, BAHAMAS — BTC released a statement this evening, saying they’re aware of an alleged scam involving mobile customers being asked to transfer funds for emergency matters.
“The contacts appear legitimate, however in several instances we have been informed that they were not. We advise customers to report the messages directly to WhatsApp, and to the Police,” it read.
