As part of three-year fiscal strategy to deal with fiscal pressures and meet financial targets each year, the government is set to increase fees on gaming house activities as follows:
- Up to $20 million – a rate of 20 per cent
- $20 – $40 million – a rate of 25 per cent
- $40 – $60 million – a rate of 30 per cent
- $60 – $80 million – a rate of 35 per cent
- $80 – $100 million – a rate of 40 per cent
- Over $100 million – a rate of 50 per cent
