NASSAU, BAHAMAS — The body of a man was found shortly before 8 pm on Saturday on Fifth Street, Coconut Grove.
The circumstances surrounding his death is currently under investigation.
Preliminary reports indicated that there were injuries to the victim’s body.
Police said after receiving information, officers went to the scene and found the man unresponsive at the rear end of the residence.
ASP Audley Peters, police press liaison, said it was still too early to determine the circumstances of the incident or the cause of death until an autopsy is performed.
He advised however that foul play is suspected.
Peters also appealed to members of the public who may have information on the matter to contact the police.
