Bimini: Suspects arrested following suspected marijuana discovery

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Three adult males have been taken into police custody after 27 pounds of suspected marijuana worth an estimated $27,000.00 was found at a home in Bailey Town, Bimini.

According to reports, around noon on Sunday, October 6, 2024, officers on the island along with the Drug Enforcement Unit executed a search warrant at the Bailey Town residence, where they discovered multiple sealed packages of suspected marijuana, leading to the arrest of the three male occupants ages: 42, 42, and 43.

In addition, a substantial sum of cash, suspected to be derived from illegal activities, was also confiscated.

Investigations are ongoing.
