NASSAU, BAHAMAS — King’s College School, The Bahamas, has announced plans for a new state-of-the-art boarding house, King’s Beach Lodge, set to open in June 2025. The facility will accommodate nearly 50 students and serve as a residential hub for both the school’s international summer camps and the upcoming 2025-2026 academic year.
The project is part of a broader investment by Inspired Education Group, the international network that operates the school. Inspired has allocated over $85 million towards campus development and boarding facilities, positioning King’s College School, The Bahamas, as a competitive option among top international institutions in the United States and the United Kingdom.
King’s Beach Lodge is expected to provide families in The Bahamas and the surrounding region with a closer-to-home alternative to traditional boarding schools in North America and Europe. The facility will also welcome students from Inspired’s global network through an international exchange programme, aimed at fostering cultural diversity and broadening students’ academic and social experiences.
“This expansion aligns with Inspired’s vision of providing students with diverse experiences and perspectives, as well as the opportunity to forge lifelong connections with peers from across Inspired’s global family of premium schools,” said Nadim M. Nsouli, Founder, Chairman & CEO of Inspired Education.
Located on Love Beach, New Providence, King’s Beach Lodge will offer modern accommodations, including private bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, study and rest areas, and balconies with ocean views. Common areas will feature a student lounge, cafeteria, and a gym with a panoramic beach terrace.
The location also provides direct access to outdoor activities such as scuba diving, snorkeling, marine science, conservation, and rowing at nearby Lake Cunningham. These opportunities align with the school’s emphasis on experiential learning and environmental awareness.
Matteo Rossetti, Founding Principal of King’s College School, The Bahamas, highlighted the broader impact of the new boarding facility:
“At King’s College School, The Bahamas, we instill the knowledge, skills, values, and character for our students to have the confidence to embrace their individuality and embrace life as the leaders of tomorrow. King’s Beach Lodge offers students the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in our education, as well as a unique life experience within the ecosystem and culture of one of the most beautiful countries in the world.”
To introduce prospective students and parents to King’s Beach Lodge, the school will host an open house event in January 2025. The event will feature virtual reality (VR) tours, allowing attendees to explore the boarding house through immersive simulations, as well as in-person meet-and-greet sessions with school administrators and faculty.
King’s College School, The Bahamas, is part of Inspired Education Group’s network of 118 premium schools worldwide, which provides students with academic pathways and exchange opportunities across multiple continents.
As the June 2025 launch approaches, the school aims to position King’s Beach Lodge as a regional hub for high-quality international education, offering students both a rigorous academic environment and a unique island lifestyle.
