Bahamas wins CARIFTA swimming title

The Bahamas continues to be a dominant force in the region in regards to its junior swimming program.

Yesterday, team Bahamas scored its fifth CARIFTA swimming title in six years, beating out second place Jamaica by over 100 points. The Bahamas finished the four-day event with 889.50 total points and 73 medals, including 35 gold, 18 silver and 20 bronze.

Marvin Johnson Jr. put on one of the greatest performances ever at the games. Individually, he won a total of 10 gold medals, and four relay gold medals.
