NASSAU, BAHAMAS- Project Manager of the Bahamas Striping Group of Companies, Ramdeo Ramdass, announced on Tuesday morning that the 160-mile road pavement project on the island of Eleuthera will commence this week.
In preparation for the pavement project, subcontractors are in the settlements of Free Town and Wemyss Bight completing their pre-pavement processes ahead of laying the asphalt.
Senior Engineer Francis Clarke emphasized that surveys and data collection were completed in the early stages, as officials believed it was critical for the roads to be modernized following the project.
