Bahamas Real Estate Exchange returns, bringing buyers, sellers, and developers together

NASSAU, BAHAMAS — The Bahamas Real Estate Exchange (BRX) is returning as a one-of-a-kind platform that brings buyers, sellers, developers, financiers, regulators, and other stakeholders together under one roof, creating opportunities for education, networking, and on-the-spot transactions.

Founder Daren Seymour described the Exchange as “a platform where the market comes to life. People don’t just hear about opportunities—they understand them and can act on them.” He said BRX was created to fill a clear gap in the Bahamian property market.

The 2026 conference will focus on development, showcasing both current projects and future opportunities. “This is where deals get done, where ideas meet action,” Seymour said. “The Expo Pavilion brings together developers, banks, utility companies, insurance professionals, and government officials to guide attendees and provide solutions right on the spot.”

A key part of this year’s program will address land adjudication and the modernization of the Bahamas’ land registry, with surveyors, lawyers, and title specialists providing guidance on navigating the evolving system. “We’re charting the course for property ownership in The Bahamas and giving people the tools to move forward confidently,” Seymour said.

Seymour emphasized BRX’s broader mission: “This isn’t just about transaction—it’s about connecting people, breaking down barriers, and strengthening the sector for Bahamians. When the industry grows, opportunities grow with it.”

H.G. Christie Limited is the lead sponsor of BRX, supporting the initiative and helping to bring Seymour’s vision to life.

“BRX is about more than property—it’s about people, opportunity, and development,” Seymour said. “This is a national forum to learn, network, and act on opportunities that shape the future of real estate in the Bahamas.”
