BAHAMAS FINISHES SIXTH AT CENTROBASKET

The Bahamas finished sixth overall at the FIBA Centrobasket Championships for a second consecutive year after losing to Costa Rica last night.

The team suffered a wire-to-wire 73-50 loss.

Head Coach Varrel Davis said that it was a learning experience for the girls and that she is happy with the team’s performance.

“With the performance, I’m happy. I think we should have performed better than we did, I think we should have medaled but we had some lapses between games, but It was a learning experience.”
