Bahamas falls to Suriname in CAZOVA title game

The Bahamas men’s national volleyball team lost a hard-fought match 3–1 to host country Suriname on Tuesday night, as the 2018 Caribbean Zonal Volleyball Association (CAZOVA) Championships came to a close at the Ismay Van Wilgen Sporthal.

Suriname took the first set 25-20. Team Bahamas bounced back to win the second set 25-13, but dropped the next two sets 25-22, 25-23.

Team Bahamas’ run at the tournament also included a win over 10-time champion Barbados in the semifinal round and a win over two-time defending champion Trinidad and Tobago in the final match of the round-robin stage.
