BAAA’s president says denying Lacarthea Cooper a spot on Olympics team would be unfair

NASSAU, BAHAMAS- BAAA’s President Drumeco Archer says that denying Lacarthea Cooper an opportunity to compete at the Paris Olympics would be unfair and go against to the federation’s selection process. He added that decisions were made without the BAAA’s full agreement.  He made the comments in video published by the BAAA late last night.

Shania Adderley was selected to be part of team , while Lacarthea Cooper has since been invited to travel with Team Bahamas but will not compete. The open ceremony for the 2024 Paris Games kicks August 26th.
