Deandre Ayton and the Phoenix Suns pulled off a third consecutive win on Monday night as the National Basketball Association’s (NBA) Summer League continued in Las Vegas.

Ayton dominated the one-on-one battle between he and highly touted center amp Mohamed Bamba. The New Providence native scored 17 points and grabbed 13 rebounds for the Suns, in a 71-53 victory against the Orlando Magic.

Bamba, the sixth pick in this year’s NBA Draft, finished the game with four points and five rebounds.

Ayton and the Suns improved to 3-0 in Summer League play, while the Magic dropped to 2-1.

“With all the excitement and all the fans coming out here, it just really made me a lot more comfortable,” Ayton said in an interview on NBA TV.

“And, I just want to put on a show for them, to be honest, and just win as many games as I play.”

Bamba is the second highest ranked big man that Ayton has found success against in recent games. On Saturday, he scored 21 points and 12 rebounds in a 71-63  against number two pick Marvin Bagley and the Sacramento Kings.
