NASSAU, BAHAMAS — Authorities were yesterday searching for three men responsible for two armed robberies on Friday.
In the first incident, a man on Shady Tree Street around 1 p.m. was approached by an armed man, who robbed him of cash and jewelry before escaping in a white vehicle.
Shortly before 9 p.m., a woman at Faith Gardens was approached by two gunmen who robbed her of a grey Nissan Cube and a cell phone before driving off.
Authorities said shortly after 7 p.m. Thursday, two gunmen entered a furniture store on Baillou Hill Road, held employees at gunpoint and robbed the business of cash.
The men escaped into a nearby community, police said.
It was unclear how much cash the men got away with.
