NASSAU, BAHAMAS- A physical altercation among an American man and a group of men resulted in the American being shot in the hand, according to authorities.
Officers responding to reports of gunshots around midnight met the American man with a gunshot wound to his hand, police said.
He told officers he was involved in an altercation with a group of men.
The man was transported to the Rand Memorial Hospital.
A short time later, two Bahamian men walked into the Rand, seeking medical attention for stab wounds.
Both men were said to be in serious, but stable condition.
Assistant Superintendent of Police Terecita Pindersaid police were investigating the matter and appealed to the anyone with information to contact authorities.
