American tourist arrested at LPIA for possession of suspected drugs

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 34-year-old American male from Indiana is in police custody after he was found in possession of suspected Heroin at the country’s main gateway, Lynden Pindling International Airport (LPIA).

Officers from the Airport Division arrested the male shortly after 4:00 p.m. on Thursday April 18, 2024.

The Drug Enforcement Unit will conduct further investigations into this incident.
