Prime Minister Dr. Hubert Minnis announced an increase in airlift from Panama following his return from London, England on Sunday. The announcement came during a press conference in the VIP lounge at the Lynden Pindling International Airport (LPIA) on Sunday.
Dr. Minnis revealed that he has been in talks with government officials from Panama who have agreed to increase flights from Panama via Copa Airlines. The prime minister indicated that this is good news for The Bahamas’ tourism product, which continues to improve.
