Aeropost Bahamas sets standard for regional counterparts

Smart parcel locker technology to revolutionize shopping in affiliate countries

NASSAU, BAHAMAS — Aeropost Bahamas has set the standard for its regional counterparts, as
their affiliate countries begin to adopt smart parcel locker technology for the first time as a
means of distributing packages.

Through its well-established footprint in over 38 countries and territories in The Caribbean,
 Central and Latin America, Aeropost is a customer-centric company with a mission to make
shopping simple.

Aeropost Trinidad rolled out its smart parcel locker network
 via ClickBox on October 27.

ClickBox powers Aeropost Bahamas’ package distribution, to provide customers with
 convenient, safe, fast, and technologically advanced last-mile delivery solutions. In Trinidad, the company is known both for its traditional core service which provides clients
 with a Miami P.O. Box Address, and another solution of an all-inclusive offering that gives
customers the option to choose from millions of products at one fully landed price.

With this service, there is no hassle to pay any additional fees when the items arrive in-country
but rather, they are simply delivered to local addresses, and now, over a dozen smart parcel
locker locations, in a seamless manner.

ClickBox CEO, and Bahamas 
In-Country CEO of Aeropost, Gershan A. Major said the company is excited about its ClickBox smart parcel locker expansion with launches in Barbados
 and Costa Rica expected before the end of next year.

“ClickBox continues its assertive 
expansion plans across the Caribbean and LATAM Aeropost markets to ensure that we offer a
ubiquitous agnostic last mile solution to our customers and other online merchants,” Major said.

indeed innovative and seamless for our customers. We were able to install, brand and market 13
 smart parcel locker units across Trinidad. It is the first smart locker network to be introduced in
 that country. We were also able to form partnerships with local businesses like Massy Stores and
 Unipet who house these units.

“Another huge win for us is that for the first time in the history of
Trinidad Carnival, next year, masqueraders will be able to collect their costumes from our smart
lockers when they play mas with Tribe. It’s the perfect marriage of culture and innovation and all
of this was done through Aeropost and ClickBox.”

Massy Stores is the biggest grocery store chain in Trinidad, Unipet is the biggest service station 
chain and Tribe is one of the biggest carnival bands.

A press conference was held in Port of Spain, Trinidad to announce the rollout of the smart
lockers last week. Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Digital Transformation Richard 
Madray gave the keynote address. Representatives from Aeropost partners Massy Stores, Unipet
 , and Tribe were also in attendance and addressed the crowd.
