An early morning blaze ripped through a warehouse at the d’Albenas Agency Wednesday morning.

Fire officials confirmed that the blaze erupted in a freezer at the warehouse off Madeira street shortly after 6:00 a.m.

The inferno was so intense that all four fire trucks on New Providence were called to the scene to extinguish the blaze.

Management at d’Albenas told Eyewitness News that the warehouse would remain closed for the rest of the day Wednesday.

Fire officials are not certain what caused the blaze but confirmed that investigations are underway.

Less than two hours later, fire officials were dispatched to Bay Street where they battled another blaze behind the old Robert’s shoe store building.
