Centreville Member of Parliament (MP) Reece Chipman lambasted the government over the proposed increase in value added tax from 7.5 per cent to 12 per cent.
The tongue lashing came during his contribution to the 2018/2019 Budget debate in the House of Assembly (HOA) Wednesday.
Chipman represents one of the poorest constituencies and said that he believes the budget is only focused on making the rich richer.
