D’Albenas presents gifts to PMH maternity pantry

NASSAU, BAHAMAS — The Princess Margaret Hospital (PMH) Maternity Department received a donation of care items from the D’Albenas Agency Limited, on Thursday, March 4, 2021.

The donation packages were presented to assist new mothers and babies in need of basic care items in preparation for discharge from the hospital.

Spearheading the donation of 15 cases of Poise Pads and 70 cases of Huggies Natural Care Diapers and Wipes for the Maternity Pantry for D’Albenas was Brand Manager Odinga Sawyer.

Speaking to the genesis of the donation, Sawyer said: “During these unprecedented times, we believe that any assistance can go a very long way in particular as far as new families and so it was incumbent upon us to make a contribution, which we certainly hope will spur others on to do the same.”

Sister Bertha Sands of the PMH Maternity Department thanked the D’Albenas Agency for their partnership as evidenced by their donation.

“On behalf of PMH Maternity Department, we thankfully accept this generous donation to our maternity closet to facilitate our incoming mothers discharged from hospital.”
