NASSAU, BAHAMAS — The Bahamas recorded another 29 cases of COVID-19 on Monday, pushing total cases to 7,460.
Of the new infections, there were 18 on Grand Bahama, four on Bimini and Cat Cay, three on New Providence, three on Exuma and one on Andros.
Another 56 cases recovered on Monday, according to the Ministry of Health.
A total 1,535 cases remain active, while another 5,708 cases or 76 percent have recovered.
There were 19 hospitalized cases.
A total of 42,053 tests have been performed.
On Monday, 107 tests were completed, of which five were repeated tests.
This represents a positivity rate of 28 percent, up from the eight percent recorded the day before.
There have been 163 confirmed deaths.
Twenty-two deaths remain under investigation.
