FREEPORT, GRAND BAHAMA – The Freeport Ruby & Football Club, under 10’s soccer team recently had a remarkable showing for their first international tournament in Florida at the 2019 Sharks Soccer Cup & Showcase. The Tournament held over the April 5th and 6th weekend hosted over 230 teams from across the globe. FRFC Soccer Coach Desiree Parris worked tirelessly to make the trip happen and was delighted with the attitude and commitment of her players. “Our children have been working so hard for this weekend,” said Coach Desiree. “To see them try and play so well was fantastic. For such a small Club this was a great experience for players and coaches and we hope to do it again next year.” Pictured (left to right) are Kennadee Morley, Jamaal Gomez, Randy Mcphee II, Gonzalo Espejo De Llano, John Weir, Brody Thompson, Seth Newman and Ethan Dean.
