NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Police in New Providence recovered an illegal firearm and dangerous drugs from the streets of New Providence on Thursday, March 14, 2019.
According to police reports, shortly before 3:00 a.m. on Thursday, Criminal Detective Unit Officers, acting on information, conducted a search of an abandoned building on Old Cedar Street, Yellow Elder Gardens and recovered a .45 pistol with seven rounds of ammunition and a quantity of marijuana.
Police are actively investigating this matter.
