NASSAU,BAHAMAS – The Bahamas Striping Group of Companies is seeking support from Corporate Bahamas to assist in their upcoming Thanksgiving Initiative.

According to Juliette Josey, Company Representative, the goal is to feed 15,000 or more families for Thanksgiving.

General Manager of Bahamas Striping Melanie Roach mentioned that the organization had a goal last year to feed 10,000 and grossly surpassed that target. She said they are hoping to do the same again this year.

A number of non profit organizations are expected to partner with Bahamas Striping for food preparation and distribution throughout Nassau and the Family Islands. Those organizations include The Bahamas Feeding Network, Feed 5,000 Network/ Queen’s College and the Salvation Army.

While a special appeal is being made to Corporate Bahamas, Roach noted that every dollar counts. The company is aiming to have all donations and or commitments in by the end of October to ensure adequate preparation time.
