Grand Bahama: Police seize 67 pounds of suspected marijuana

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – On Sunday October 6, 2024, police in Grand Bahama seized 67 pounds of suspected marijuana worth an estimated of $67,000.00 near Williams Town Cemetery.

According to initial reports, officers from the Drug Enforcement Unit, acting on information, conducted a search in an overgrown area near the cemetery shortly after 6:00 p.m., where they discovered the drugs in a derelict watercraft.

Officers made no arrests in connection with this discovery.

Investigations are ongoing.
