NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Police are questioning a 40-year-old male in connection with a stabbing incident that occurred shortly after 10:00 p.m. on Sunday October 6, 2024.
According to preliminary reports, the 40-year-old suspect was engaged in an altercation with a female known to him while at a residence on Golden Isle Road, during which he produced a sharp instrument and stabbed her in the upper body.
Police arrested him shortly after the incident, authorities confirmed.
The victim, aged 33, was taken to the hospital by EMS personnel for medical attention, and she is currently listed in serious condition.
Investigations are ongoing.
