Gaming operators have less than a week before they will have to begin charging customers a new five per cent tax.
Tourism Minister Dionisio D’Aguilar said Tuesday that August 13 deadline for the new tax is hard and fast.
As operators are also faced with a tax hike of up to 50 per cent, D’Aguilar said, the government is presently weighing all the options before it settles on any decision.
