NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Minister of Energy and Transport JoBeth Coleby-Davis has warned that a number of areas throughout New Providence will experience power outages today and tomorrow as Bahamas Power and Light (BPL) conducts its routine tree trimming exercise.
Coleby-Davis explained that there has been an increase in calls from BPL customers who have complained about low hanging trees within a number of communities.
BPL has advised that consumers in Prince Charles, Nassau East South, Farrington Road, Carmichael Road, London Terrace and Southern Shores can expect interruption in their power supply.
